Korak and His Mother

Korak and His Mother by Bowen12a
Jane (to Korak):  Why aren't you wearing the shirts I keep buying for you?

Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

Lady Jane Porter Clayton, Viscountess Greystoke, is Tarzan's wife and Korak's mother.  She appeared in various Tarzan stories from the first novel in 1912, in various books, films, television series, and other media.

The picture "Korak and His Mother by st00pz" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2015.  Earlier, in 2014, I commissioned the pictures "Korak Outside Greysoke Ranch by st00pz" from the same artist.  I requested that he do one version which was based upon the American Tarzan comic pages (1968-1979) and strips (1968-1972) by Russ Manning and another version which was based upon the British Tarzan comic books (1977-1978) by Dan Spiegle

While I admire and enjoy his daring fashion choices, and believe that Korak has the body to pull it off, others may feel that such revealing attire is inappropriate.

This picture is fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  This is an original scene and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.
