Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet. The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Jonathan "Jonny" Quest is the 11-year-old son of Dr. Benton Quest. His adventures were depicted in an American animated television series, which debuted in 1964 on ABC and was revived in 1986 on syndication and in 1996 on the Cartoon Network. They were also produced by Hanna-Barbera.
Race Bannon is a special agent who has been assigned to guard Jonny in order that Dr. Quest's value to science not be impaired by his concern for his son's safety.
Being a child star can also be an adventure. They may get fame and fortune, but they also face adult temptations and responsibilities without necessarily being ready for them. I imagine what Dorno's adventures would be as a child star.
Jonny Quest invites his new friend Dorno to his pool. Some innocent fun leads to sincere attraction. However, Dr. Quest thinks that his son can do better than the shirtless pretty boy from a Saturday morning show.
This series is meant as a representation of how most Hanna-Barbera fan sites tend to ignore the Herculoids.
These pictures are fan art and primarily intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno. I reintroduced Jonny Quest as a potential love interest. These are original scenes and did not appear in either series or in any other derivative media.
It would be interesting to see Jonny and Dorno swimming underwater in the pool, and Jonny teaching his friend how to scuba dive.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas. Unfortunately, it's been years since I used Bowen12a. He did an excellent Dorno.
