Dorno and the Spider Man by Bowen12a |

Zandor (to Tara): If the Spider Men have him, we've got to intercept them at the entrance to the Endless Caves.
Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet. The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Due to his youth and his lack of special powers, Dorno is certainly one of the most vulnerable members of the Herculoids and is frequently a weak link which their opponents seek to target. I imagined what might happen if the Herculoids had not rescued the boy in certain episodes.
The 3-picture series "Dorno and the Spider Men by Bowen12a" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2015.
These pictures were inspired by the episode "The Spider Men". A group of insect creatures capture Dorno, but are defeated by the Herculoids and seek to return with the boy to the Endless Caves.
Imagining that the Herculoids' rescue attempt had failed, one of the Spider Men, angry over the costly defeat, uses two of his six limbs to restrain Dorno's two arms and uses two of his other limbs to viciously beat the shirtless pretty boy's soft underbelly.
In the second picture, the cold-blooded Spider Man finds Dorno's soft, warm skin to be a strangely new and interesting sensation and begins running two of his hands over the shirtless pretty boy's smooth torso.
From Dorno's perspective, this is preferable to the Spider Men's sharing his warm, youthful blood and leaving his exsanguinated corpse for Zandor to find.
The behind-the-scenes picture depicts a Spider Man tickling Dorno.
This picture is fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno. These are original scenes and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.
