Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the son of Viking chief Stoick the Vast and his long-lost wife Valka.  Hiccup was the star of three successful How to Train Your Dragon movies in 2010, 2014, and 2019.
 
After the cancellation of the Herculoids, Dorno is continuing to seek work as an actor despite his fading fame.

The three-picture series "Dorno in Berk" was one that I commissioned from Bowen12a through DeviantART in 2017.  It is unfinished and will probably remain unfinished.

Dorno was lucky to get a part in the popular How to Train Your Dragon movies.  Cast against type as the antagonist, the shirtless pretty boy clashed with producers, lost interest, and eventually walked off the set.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  Hiccup was introduced as a romantic rival.  These are original scenes and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.
