Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

I imagine that Dorno, being a youthful, semi-heroic sidekick who got into frequent trouble in the Herculoids, would be the perfect victim in teen slasher films after the cancellation of his television series, portraying a cocky, capable self confidence, until he encounters the villain. 

The 9-picture series "Dorno in Halloween" was one that I commissioned from Bowen12a through DeviantART in 2016 and 2017.  Five pictures are available here.  More will be avalable in "Dorno in Halloween 2"

These pictures were inspired by the "Halloween" horror movie franchise.


The insanely strong serial killer Michael Myers stalks shirtless pretty boy Dorno, who investigates a noise downstairs armed with a baseball bat.  The attractive, athletic teen finds that the bat did not work and that his youthful arms are straining at the attempt to prevent the villain's cold blade from plunging into his firm, young chest.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  Michael Myers plays the villain.  These are original scenes and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.
