Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet. The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Will Robinson is the precocious son of Dr. John Robinson and Dr. Maureen Robinson and a child prodigy himself. He was played by Billy Mumy in the 1965 television series Lost in Space on CBS.
I imagine that Dorno, with his cute, blond, athletic, all-American good looks, would naturally star in televised versions of various Bible stories after the cancellation of the Herculoids.
The 18-picture series "Dorno in the Garden of Eden by Bowen12a" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.
This series was inspired by the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, with shirtless pretty boy Dorno taking the part of Adam, Will Robinson taking the part of Eve in a gender switch, and Zandor taking the part of God.
In this series, the apple represents puberty and sexual awakening, and its consumption does not constitute original sin. Rather, the sin is in God's homophobic reaction to the young love between the two boys.
After being forbidden by his father to see him anymore, Jonny Quest continues meeting Dorno secretly in the set of his movies.
In the behind-the-scenes pictures, Jonny Quest and Will Robinson combine to tickle Dorno.
These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno. I introduced Will Robinson as a potential friend. Jonny Quest is Dorno's love interest. Dr. Zachary Smith makes a cameo appearance as the serpent. These are original scenes and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.
