The angel Michael and the demon Anak are original characters whom I share with the artist 09tuf at DeviantART.  Despite his youthful appearance, Michael is almost ten thousand years old, and Anak is much older.

In "Michael and Anak", the large, powerful demon Anak has become quite attracted to the cute, little angel Michael.

The 54-picture series "Michael vs. Anak" was one that I commissioned from 09tuf through DeviantArt in 2016 in nine pages.  Sixteen picture are available here.  More will be available in "Michael vs. Anak 2"

In this series, Anak makes Michael a tantalizing offer.  The angel can win his freedom if he can defeat the demon in combat.

Thor and Korak

Thor and Korak by jen-and-kris
Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

Thor is the Norse god of thunder and son of Odin.  He is the hero of his own Marvel comic books series, debuting in 1962, and various films.  He was a founding member of the Avengers.

The picture "Thor and Korak by jen-and-kris" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.  Korak noticed that Thor left his hammer behind and sought to return it to him.  It appears that the handsome, athletic son of Tarzan is worthy.

This picture is fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  I introduced Thor as a potential friend and rival.  This is an original scene and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Introducing Lok

Introducing Lok by Bowen12a
Lok is the son of Gorok and Gara, a caveman and his wife who befriend the Butlers, a modern family who stranded in prehistoric times.  Their adventures are depicted in Valley of the Dinosaurs, an American animated television series, which debuted in 1974 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Lok is a teen-aged cave-boy, with long, blond hair, a strong, chiseled face, and a youthful, athletic build.  He wears only a leather loincloth and a necklace of animal bones.

The picture "Introducing Lok by Bowen12a" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.

This picture was actually inspired by the 1973 film The World's Greatest AthleteIn the film, a coach with dubious morals was considering how to get a talented jungle boy, played by the handsome, athletic Jan-Michael Vincent, to go to America.  Then, a wooden cage passes by them.  The idea was discarded too easily.

This picture is fan art and intended to raise interest in Lok and Valley of the Dinosaurs.  This is an original scene and did not appear in the series.

In "Michael in Hell", the cute, little angel Michael is chained to a wall while the demon Marcus plucks feathers from his wings one-by-one.  In "Michael in Hell 2", the demonic minions try to pull the angel's limbs apart, to stone the angel, and the subject the angel to a thousand cuts.  In "Michael in Hell 3", the angel is subjected to fire and ice torture.
In "Michael in Hell 4", the angel is barbecued and stewed.

The 6-picture series "Michael and Anak" was one that I commissioned from 09tuf through DeviantArt in 2016 in 2 pages.

Mahar (to Korak):  Stop!

Korak strives to emulate the heroics of his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

This 3-part picture series "Korak vs. the Mahar by jen-and-kris" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.

This series was inspired by the Daily Tarzan comic strip Return to Earth's Core by Russ Manning on February 22, 1972.  In the story, Korak unwisely tries to prevent the evil Mahar from escaping a blimp and finds himself the captive of the flying, reptilian beast.  Taken to the villain's cavernous nest, the handsome, athletic son of Tarzan attempts to prevent himself from becoming the main course of a reptilian feast until he finds that he is helpless against the Mahar's mind control power.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.

This 3-part picture series "Korak vs. Mike Machado by jen-and-kris" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.

This series was inspired by the Daily Tarzan comic strip Korak and the White Water Runner by Russ Manning on August 11, 1971.  In the story, film director Mike Machado is jealous of his star Anne Dagbert's flirtations with the handsome, athletic son of Tarzan and picks a fight with the young hero.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.

Dorno on Elm Street

Dorno in Nightmare on Elm Street behind the scenes by Bowen12a

Dorno and Jonny Quest on the set of Nightmare on Elm Street by Bowen12a
Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.
I imagine that Dorno, being a youthful, semi-heroic sidekick who got into frequent trouble in the Herculoids, would be the perfect victim in teen slasher films after the cancellation of his television series, portraying a cocky, capable self confidence, until he encounters the villain.

The 3-picture series "Dorno in Nightmare on Elm Street by Bowen12a" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.
These pictures were inspired by the "Nightmare on Elm Street" horror movie franchise.

In the first picture, the spirit of the evil serial killer Freddie Kruger invades the dreams of shirtless pretty boy Dorno, toys with the attractive, athletic youth before defeating him, and chains the young teen up in his boiler room.  The victim is confronted with Freddie's notorious razored glove before it is plunged into his soft, warm torso.

The behind-the-scenes picture depicts Freddie tickling Dorno.

After being forbidden by his father to see him anymore, Jonny Quest continues meeting Dorno secretly in the set of his movies.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  Despite appearances, Freddie Krueger is quite professional.  Jonny Quest is Dorno's love interest.  These are original scenes and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.

Michael in Hell 4: Angel, the Other White Meat

The angel Michael is an original character whom I share with the artist 09tuf at DeviantART.  Despite his youthful appearance, Michael is almost ten thousand years old.

The eight-picture series "Michael in Hell" was one that I commissioned from 09tuf through DeviantArt in 2015 in three pages with one additional picture.

In this blog, Michael will be barbecued and stewed.  Fortunately, or unfortunately, the angel is immortal and will recover from his wounds

I imagine that Dorno, with his cute, blond, athletic, all-American good looks, would naturally star in televised versions of various Bible stories after the cancellation of the Herculoids.

The picture "Dorno in the Sacrifice of Isaac by Bowen12a" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2016.
This picture were inspired by the relief of The Sacrifice of Isaac by Ghiberti, with shirtless pretty boy Dorno taking the part of Isaac and Zandor taking the part of Abraham.

This picture is fan art and intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  Space Ghost makes a cameo appearance in this picture.  This is an original scene and did not appear in the series or in any other derivative media.
