Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Pippi Longstocking is a red-haired, freckled, super-humanly strong 9-year-old Swedish girl.  Pippi was the subject of several books by Astrid Lindgren and various films and television series.

Being a child star can also be an adventure.  They may get fame and fortune, but they also face adult temptations and responsibilities without necessarily being ready for them.  I imagine what Dorno's adventures would be as a child star.

The 2-part picture series "Dorno and Pippi Longstocking by Bowen12a" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2014.

Cute, blond, and athletic, Dorno would be the natural subject of a crush on the part of the younger Pippi Longstocking.  However, despite his greater age and size, shirtless pretty boy Dorno appears to be unable to resist the amorous attentions of tomboy Pippi.

These pictures are fan art and primarily intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  I introduced Pippi Longstocking as a potential love interest.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any movies, television series or any other derivative media.
