Dorno in Uglor Conquers the Universe 6 alternate by roemesquita

Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

The 6-picture series "Dorno in Uglor Conquers the Universe by roemesquita" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2021.  Six pictures and two alternates are included here.

It was inspired by an episode from the second season in 1981.  In "Uglor Conquers the Universe", a villainous space creature gains the power to manipulate the universe.  In response to an insult from Dorno, a vine grabs the boy around the waist and drops him into an apparently carnivorous plant.  Fortunately, Igoo forces open the mouth of the plan.  This is a whimsical alternate version of the scene.

These pictures are fan art and primarily intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any movies, television series or any other derivative media.

Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

Spiderman is the alias of Peter Parker, the orphaned nephew of Ben and May Parker of New York City.  Having acquired superpowers when he was bitten by a radioactive spider, he is the hero of his own Marvel comic books series, debuting in 1962, various animated television series, beginning in 1967, a live-action television series in 1978, and various films, starting in 2002.

Korak strives to emulate the heroics of his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

This multi-picture series was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2021.  Four pictures are available here.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Randy Hardy is an original character whom I share with the artist FranjoGutierrez at DeviantART.  Randy is a model, and his brother Scott has been cast in the role of Korak, son of Tarzan, in a Lara Croft movie.

Randy is tied to a bed by somebody who did not appreciate his attempt to impress his girlfriend with how much better he would be in the role of Korak.  Unfortunately, the girlfriend finds herself attracted to the handsome youth in bondage, further angering the boyfriend.

The multi-picture series "Korak and the Jealous Boyfriend" was commissioned from FranjoGutierrez through DeviantART in 2020 and 2021.  Five pictures are available here.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.
