Korak in Bondage

Korak in Bondage by bondageincomics

Korak in Bondage 2 by bondageincomics

Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

As depicted in the comic books, pages, and strips, Korak has a lean, athletic physique, broad shoulders and thin waist, almost no clothing, a cute, boyish face, and full, thick hair.  He is also an intelligent, enthusiastic teen-aged boy with excellent natural instincts and a good heart.

Korak strives to emulate his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is both more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

In this series, Korak is serving as bait for his famous father.  Scream louder hero boy.  We want daddy to know where you are.

The two-picture series "Korak in Bondage" was commissioned from bondageincomics through DeviantART in 2021.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Korak and Wolverine B

Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

Wolverine is the alias of James Howlett, a mutant who possesses animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, powerful regenerative ability known as a healing factor, and three retractable claws in each hand.  He joined the X-Men, appearing in the Marvel comic book series in 1975, the animated television series in 1992, and various films, starting in 2000.  Wolverine has emerged as a fan favorite and has starred in his own comic books and films.

Korak strives to emulate the heroics of his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

Finding himself cornered and remembering his previous encounter with Wolverine, Korak quickly offers his surrender.  However, the results are pretty much the same for the handsome, athletic son of Tarzan.

The three-picture series "Wolverine vs. Korak B by st00pz" was commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2021.  Although he is a peak human teen-aged jungle boy, Korak is no match for Wolverine.

This series is also meant as a representation of the inability of traditional heroes to compete in the superhero era in terms of popularity and commercial success.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  I introduced Wolverine as a bemused sparring partner and potential antagonist.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Dorno and the Crystal Menace

Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

The 8-picture series "Dorno and the Crystal Menace by roemesquita" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2021.  The first four pictures are available here.

It was inspired by an episode from the second season in 1981.  In "Crystal Menace", a crystal cyborg creates a crystal army which threatens to turn the Herculoids' home planet to crystal.  Having destroyed a crystal sentry with a laser gun, an overconfident Dorno turns to face the crystal cyborg, is shot, and turns to crystal.  This is a whimsical depiction of a different battle, in which the crystal cyborg still prevails, but in a different manner.

These pictures are fan art and primarily intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any movies, television series or any other derivative media.

Black Panther's real name is T'Challa, king and protector of the fictional African nation of Kakanda.  Along with possessing enhanced abilities achieved through ancient Wakandan rituals of drinking the essence of the heart-shaped herb, T'Challa also relies on his proficiency in science, rigorous physical training, hand-to-hand combat skills, and access to wealth and advanced Wakandan technology to combat his enemies.  He is the hero of various Marvel comic book series, starting in 1973, a 2010 animated television series, and a blockbuster 2018 film, and a major character in various films, television series, and comic-book series.

Korak strives to emulate his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is both more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

The Honorable Jack Clayton now finds himself a prisoner in Wakanda.  However, the Black Panther offers the son of Tarzan a sporting chance.  Korak can win his freedom by defeating T'Challa in a wrestling match.

T'Challa forces Korak to submit repeatedly.  Nevertheless, the son of Tarzan persists.

This multi-part series "Korak vs. T'Challa" was commissioned from the artist TheRaytrix through DeviantART in 2020 and 2021.  Six pictures are available here.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Randy Hardy is an original character whom I share with the artist FranjoGutierrez at DeviantART.  Randy is a model, and his brother Scott has been cast in the role of Korak, son of Tarzan, in a Lara Croft movie.

A mysterious vixen convinces Randy that he would make a better Korak than his brother Scott.  However, a jealous boyfriend puts him to the test.

The multi-picture series "Korak and the Jealous Boyfriend" was commissioned from FranjoGutierrez through DeviantART in 2020 and 2021.  Five pictures are available here, plus an earlier 2020 introductory picture.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.
