Dorno Babysits the Simpsons

Dorno Babysits the Simpsons by Alexander-LR

Dorno is the son of Zandor, leader of the Herculoids, and his wife Tara, a family of three humans and their five very powerful pet creatures defending their jungle planet.  The Herculoids were the subjects of an American animated television series, which debuted in 1967 and was revived in 1981 on CBS and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpsons are fictional characters in The Simpsons, which originated as animated shorts in the television variety show The Tracey Ullman Show in 1987 and developed into an animated prime-time television series in 1989.  It features a five-person traditional family with a mother and father and three children.  Bart is a ten-year-old troublemaker and prankster; Lisa is a precocious eight-year-old activist; and Maggie is the baby of the family.

The six-part series "Dorno Babysits the Simpsons by Alexander-LR" was one that I commissioned from an artist through DeviantART in 2020.  The first picture is available here.

Lisa appears to welcome the cute new babysitter Dorno, while Bart resents the new authority figure.

These pictures are fan art and primarily intended to raise interest in the Herculoids and Dorno.  I introduced Bart Simpson as a potential antagonist and Lisa Simpson as a potential romantic interest.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any movies, television series or any other derivative media.

Korak is the Honorable Jack Clayton, son of English Lord John Clayton, Viscount Greystoke, also known as Tarzan, lord of the jungle.  He is the hero of a 1915/6 magazine serial and 1917 novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs and a 1920 silent movie serial, as well as a character in several other Tarzan stories from 1914 to 1924.  He experienced a revival in 1964 as the star of his own comic book series and as a major character in various Tarzan comic books, pages, and strips from 1966 to 1978.

Robin the Boy Wonder is the eager, youthful sidekick of Batman, the Caped Crusader, the vigilante crime-fighting alias of millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.  Introduced in 1940 as orphaned acrobat Dick Grayson in the DC comic book series Batman, Robin was played by Burt Ward in the 1966 television series on ABC.

The picture "Young Korak and Robin by ramzehx" was a gift from an artist through DeviantART in 2020.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Lee Leugenaar was introduced in "Korak and the Leugenaars".  He is a wealthy businessman who owns a ranch near Greystoke Ranch in Africa.  He is also insanely jealous and suspicious of Korak for having an affair with his wife Annie.

This three-picture series "Hunting the Swimming Instructor" was commissioned from roemesquita through DeviantART in 2019.  Korak was not the first person whom Lee Leugenaar suspected of having an affair with his wife Annie.

Korak strives to emulate the heroics of his legendary father but lacks his maturity and experience.  Therefore, he is more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.

Korak faces Queen Charles, the transvestite who vanquished Ka-Zar in Ka-Zar vs. Queen Charles.

This twelve-part series "Korak vs. Queen Charles" was commissioned from JarvannIV through DeviantART in 2019.  Four pictures are available here.

These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak.  These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.

Bomba and the Pirates behind the scenes by bondageincomics

Bomba is a boy who grew up in the jungle, trying to discover his origin.  Introduced in 1926 through a series of 20 adventure books produced by Stratemeyer Syndicate under the pseudonym Roy Rockwood, Bomba was played by Johnny Sheffield in a series of 12 movies starting in 1949.

This version is based upon actor Luke Halpin, who played Sandy Ricks in the 1964 television series Flipper.  I imagine that Halpin, being cute, blond, and athletic, with all-American good looks, would naturally be cast in another outdoor adventure series, like Bomba

The five-picture series "Bomba and the Pirates by bondageincomics" was commissioned from the artist through DeviantART in 2019.
In this series,Bomba's attempt to rescue two girls from some pirates leads to an unfortunate result.
In the behind-the-scenes picture, the younger girl takes advantage of Luke Halpin's helplessness by launching a tickle attack on the shirtless actor, while the older girl hooks up with one of the pirates.

These pictures are fan art and are intended to promote the appreciation of actor Luke Halpin.  These are original scenes and did not appear in the book series, the movie series, or any other derivative material.
