Superman is Kal-El, son of Jor-El of the planet Krypton, also known as Clark Kent, foster son of Jonathan and Martha Kent of Smallville. With super alien powers, he is the hero of his own DC comic books series, debuting in 1938, a 1940 radio program, a 1952 television series, and various blockbuster films, starting in 1978. He was a founding member of the Justice League.
Korak strives to emulate the heroics of his legendary father but lacks his strength, maturity and experience. Therefore, he is more likely to enter into dangerous situations and more vulnerable to being defeated.
Most of the Justice League is growing tired of the eager, young son of Tarzan testing his boundaries as a hero, trying to compete with the superheroes, and becoming an irritating waste of their time and energy.
Superman decides to accept Korak's challenge because he frankly wants to teach the jungle boy a lesson in picking his opponents more carefully. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a speeding locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, the Man of Steel can completely dominate the handsome, athletic son of Tarzan .
Superman will then be dropping the jungle boy into a cage for an hour to teach him the consequences of defeat. In the real world, against a serious opponent, such poor choices can be fatal for a young hero, and good intentions will not help.
These pictures are fan art and intended to raise interest in and appreciation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs character Korak. Superman is a reluctant sparring partner. These are original scenes and did not appear in any comic book, page, or strip.
